Hose going into stock throttle elbow

I want to swap my stock throttle body elbow for the Greddy one...but there is a hose going into the stock one and no port on the Greddy piece. What does this hose do and what do you do with it?

AWS= Accelerated Warm Startup.

Most people block it off since its believed to wear down an engine faster with it in place.
You can fabricate your own block-off plates or buy them prefab. Banzai-Racing sells them, ebay sells them too.

I believe the Jspec UIM don't have AWS so thats another option.

I did this a few months ago, the blockoff that is.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy ebay plates. The one's I have seen are craptastic, cheaply made and you could probably bend them with your fingers.

I bought the banzai kit even though I didn't need all of the plates (JDM LIM and UIM) and let me tell you those are some well made sturdy as hell block off plates.
