twin to single turbo and front mount

how complicated is it to go from twin to a single turbo? and how much would it cost? i read in super street that if you add a front mount that it would make your car overheat and the v-mount is a way for it not. is there an easy or better way?

Well if Super Street said it would make your car overheat, it must be true!

What are the goals for your car? What will it be used for?

there are many factors that will make your car overheat and simply making the statement that adding a fmic will make it overheat is incorrect. adding a fmic has the potential of restricting air flow to your radiator which may lead to higher operating temps. but there are many other factors (radiator, oil coolers, vented hood,...ect, ect)

Let's entertain that thought for a moment: maybe the people who write for Import Tuner / Super Street / Drifter World / riceboy monthly / etc do actually know more than the average rx7club member. If this is true, then they are doing a huge disservice to their readers by writing such idiotic articles emphasizing bling, rice, and much more testosterone than brains. Shame on them either way for writing a bunch of crap and selling it to young and impressionable people who could be spending their time educating themselves.

I like the one issue that they had about Rx-7s... it had what mods to do to each generation to get whatever power you wanted.

Going single turbo will run you around 7k to 10K.Whoever wrote that must be an idiot, like scotty305 said it could make your temps go up, but your car will not overheat,my car never overheated from having a fmic.

they are journalist then car buff's. a good condition cooling system with a fmic and vertically monted radiator should not overheat. there hasnt been any hardcore documentation on v mounts yet, to my knowedge. but you can search for cossies post on his vmount setup. do your own reasech with the search fuction and don't listen to super street.
