So I believe I have the 6 cylinder version which has an 8 pin connector and I have the 93 harness which has the 6 pin plug with 5 wires. Can I just wire it to not use the brown,orange, and blue wires on the TP or do I need to get the other unit?

 

Solved my own problem and went with wiring it together with the same color wires and tying off the 3 extra and drives nice.
