which turbo timer?

which turbo timer fits into the dash panel compartment without needing a harness. i'm looking for one that's smaller than the compartment so i can fit some other stuff in it. or should i get one that fits in the glove compartment? what's the smallest one you can buy?

I got the Greddy Turbo Timer and put it in the glove compartment. I have a black interior and a pearl white timer. I like it cause when people are riding in the car and you open up the box to adjust it.....they say **** like "what the **** are you running in this thing", which makes me chuckle.

Just wondering......what do you need to adjust on a turbo timer so often that you are opening the gove box? why not just say you open the glove box to "show off" your timer? that is all you are doing....right? if not...what are your predetermined settings that you switchback and forth to. also what are the driving condition variations? i am just being curious here.

Well it is a little to show off. But I do have two settings on it. One is at 2 min. the other at 5. If it is normal driving...I keep it at 2, but if I hammer on it or travel on the highway for a while, its changed to 5.

If you're looking for small, I have the Apex'i timer. It's tiny, I haven't seen one smaller. I just put it under the cd player behind the door in that little compartment. Stays hidden out of the way, but still easy to get to.

The question is why a turbo timer. In my opinion they are only good for looks. One new turbo systems they are pretty useless. Look at the ones that have the function where they set a time depending on how you drive it stills only sets it to like 30 secs. Ask around to see who has had a turbo die due to improper cooling time. Just do the fan mod and wait the 30 secs in the car.

You absolutely DON'T NEED a turbo timer. Buy one if you want to waste some $$$.
