Turbo question TIA

So I got a 93 touring that was converted to non-sequential. Also has full turboback exhaust. The motors smoking like crazy, so I'm gonna pull it and replace, my questions are.

When I put the new motor in, how difficult is it to go back to a simple sequential?

Also, is it honestly worth doing or would it be better to run non-sequential?

I've been reading and read if you mod the car heavily then running stock sequential that it can be a problem, how much truth is in that?

Thanks in advance, I'm continuing to search and read up, but am hoping someone has some other advice while I'm doing so.

It's a problem if you don't know how to fix it yourself. Otherwise, its not a problem at all. Rich man's non-sequential isn't bad. I recently did it to a customer of mine and am getting 10 psi by 3500 RPM in 3rd gear and is building boost before that. On the highway, can hit 10 PSI by 3000-3200 RPM. I spent the time porting out everything as I had the turbo's completely apart. Doing it this way actually makes more power then sequential across the board but rarely its done this way as it takes a long time.
