Unhappy Turbo Noise?

I am getting a wierd noise that sounds like it is comming from the turbos. It only happens when I am in 4th or 5th gear and I reach about 7-10 psi. It sounds almost like a belt but more like metal, if that makes sence. I look for smoke but see none. Could this be that my turbos are going bad?

This is always the hard things to discribe in words...If possible try to record the sound...try a short little sound clip/or video...Also is the noise real loud or faint?

Just a shot in the dark here but maybe it's your alternator belt.

I thought the same thing but it only does it when the car is at 7-10 psi. If I rev the car at idle I do not hear the noise.

different stress levels at 7-10 psi as you have your foot on the gas.

I remember someone posting about a similar thing, a loud screeching sound when under boost. I think it had to do with a check valve on the ACV, or something?
It was a small part that has a little disc inside that can slip of it's seat and then would make this awful sound.

If anyone remembers what I'm talking about, please chime in...

That would be the ACV, but normally that's only a problem if it's been tampered with (i.e. taken off)
