Do you have stock downpipe??? Your pre-cat could be clogged.

Sounds like your timing is too retarted causing your egt's to go very high.

Probably a bit rich but mine does the same. At lower RPMs it disappears. Mine was red at 1200 but not at 750RPM

If you are single turbo, I hope you have an aftermarket engine management system like MIcrotech, Haltech, Power FC or something right?

You will need to make sure your trigger wheel is not damaged and on correctly. Also make sure your crank angle sensor is correct in its reading. IF you have a power fc, you can adjust timing this way.

Replace your air intake sensor. Mine went out and caused this same problem. When it fails, the ECU reads something absurd like -40 degrees C, so its way too rich to burn up all the fuel.

I agree that it's running abnormally rich.

IAT is one possibility, but so is an injector dumping too much fuel.

A glowing DP/precat is normal for a car sitting at idle for any length of time. When the car sits at idle, there is no air passing thru the engine bay, so nothing cools the pipe.

You do not have a problem
