Question turbo and ignition upgrade

im currently rebuilding my motor. im looking at getting a new turbo kit ive looked into the rx-6 turbo from apexi and the t-78 im also looking at getting tt knight sports setup. i want to do small tracks and road racing so it needs to spool up quikly. any one with experience with these give me your opinion. also im doing fuel system and ignition run by a haltech e6k any suggetions on brands or opinions on favor or dislike. thanx

Very good tuning with a T-78 with would be ok but they are generally known for more drag racing since they spool slower. A RX-6 or T04E would be your best bet if doing roadracing and autocrossing. Both support about 380-400 rwhp at 15 psi and spool very quick. XS turbos are watercooled which helps reliability. If you have a problem with the RX-6 and need it rebuilt, Apexi won't cover it from what I've heard and you'd need a whole new turbo. The XS turbos are very cheap to rebuild. The T-78 is more of an all out brute-power turbo and can be uncontrollable if not used to that kind of power. I prefer the smaller, quicker spooling turbos for street use and road racing.
