Turbo 2 DP question

I just put my car on a lift to check out the downpipe because I heard an exhaust leak, turn out two studs have broken off into whatever the downpipe connects to (turbo manifold)?

would I be able to drill the bolts out and replace them?

would it be costly?

anyone else have this problem before?

thanks-Nick

If the studs are broken off, inside the turbos, you will have to remove the turbos to remove the broken studs.

If you take off the downpipe, will there be any stud left to grab onto?

If so, pull the dp, then I used a grinder to cut flats on each side of the bolt until it fit an open-end wrench perfectly. Combined with a bunch of PB blaster, they broke right out.

Unfortunately, I think if they break off flush the only real answer is to pull the turbos. There just isn't much room.
