OP, you should look into Rice Racing. Peter has been making sick reliable numbers using manual water injection for years. I am developing my own kit is well. With the use of Aquamist's monitoring DDS3 system, it will be rock solid.

Bingo. No tuning needed for just h2o injection. Heck, I run windshield wahser fluid (premixed h2o and meth % meth depends on degree, lower = more meth) and most certainly did not retune for it. I run it primarily as a knock deterent and air intake temp cooler. I am tuned to run boost safely and added the AI as an extra safety measure. BUT like I mentioned, if you do not need all that power all the time ( and I seriously doubt you do, most of us don't) you could tune for safety with fuel only to the 19psi, then turn the AI on to deter knock, turn theboost up and continue to tune with fuel. Set the AI failsafe to lower boost to 19psi or lower if the sytem fails. Good, name-brand systems are really quite reliable if installed correctly.
If you want help lemme know. I am in the Orlando area. I just did my AI install about 9months ago and you don't even know its there unless you look under my Greddy elbow and see the injector and line...

Thank god you decided to go with water/meth. Anyone who claims to be an expert and discourages meth injection on a rotary is a poorly informed tuner at best imo. Anyone who's used water/meth and understands how it works in the engine would tell you not to build the car without it. (Unless your running e85 then the gains are marginal, but the water still has a strong cooling and cleaning effect on the engine)
Are you running the stock secondaries as primaries with a top feed rail, or are you actually running the whole stock primary setup? Before you look at making 500+ whp, you might want to look at the injector duty cycle as that setup has to be being pushed at that power level.

+1 for water/meth. I've been injecting windshield wiper fluid for years now.....ran up to 22 psi on the 500R with it, so more than 500 rwhp. Basic Aquamist 1S system has been absolutely bulletproof. I use the OEM tank, and it's funny to watch all the BMW/Porsche guys watching me constantly refilling my tank in between sessions at the road race track. More than one has asked me what the hell I'm doing

Getting an aftermarket FPR and 1000cc primaries with a top feed rail might be a good idea if you are going to be pushing the engine.

I know several people who use HEET, although it is expensive.
A little info courtesy of Snow Performance on what to use as water/meth:
• Windshield Washer fluid: Only if it is blue in color and rated for -20 deg F. This means it is safe to use and made of about 30% methanol, 70% water. If it is another color or another temperature rating, do not use it. It should NOT have any extra additives or features.
• You can “spike” your Blue -20 Washer fluid to a 50% mixture by adding 3 12OZ yellow bottles of Heet® gas-line-antifreeze to every gallon of washer fluid.
• Mix your own: You just need to make sure the methanol is “neat” and contains no lubricants or other additives. We recommend a 50% mixture.

You figure the liquid is providing cooling through the chemical process of atomization, not necessarily it's starting temperature. That, and the tank isn't really INSIDE the engine bay, it's up there, but it's getting constant air flow from the oil cooler ducts iirc.
