I was told the following about a 1995 '7…..
THIS IS THE MOST RARE OF THE THIRD GENERATION RX-7! This R2 is 1 of 183 shipped to America! It is all stock except for new tires, an intake and exhaust. It is in excelant condition and is one of a very select few Japan domestic cars slated to appriciate in value.

R2's where available in 94 and 95...just means it's the "racing" version...stiffer shocks, dual oil coolers, suede like seats..etc etc..nothing special... yes there where less of them in 95..but that is true with all 95's...certainly not only 1
