Trouble with engine reassembly 13brew

Hey guys, I had my series 6 FD block rebuilt recently and when I've come to put it together I found that the oil filler pipe doesn't line up with the flange on the centre plate (the holes are off centre). I am now thinking that the engine builder has put the wrong centre plate in when rebuilding it, could this be right? here are some pics of my filler pipe and the mounting flage on the centre plate if that helps? I have told the engine builder this and he sent a new filler pipe but it was just a straight metal pipe (not like the double kinked standard one) and did not fit under my throttle body. Is there a way around this?
Thanks for any help guys.

I believe the oil fill pipe is just press fit into the iron, I think it can be rotated. It might have been bumped at some point which rotated the flange.

Dale is correct. Just pull it out, reposition it and give it a soft tap with a rubber mallet.

Thanks guys, I think I know what you are meaning, but it's actually the kinked filler neck that I cant line up properly. The O ring at the bottom of the neck should fit in to the filler pipe flange and sit flush but it doesn't. Is this a different problem?
Thanks again for the advice.
