looks like the same thing that pops up here every couple days. It didn't seem like trash talking. Alot of what was said made sense, except for the breaking down every 4 days remark but he has already been corrected.

well i noted that it really wasnt "trash talking" .. supra forums looks like they are getting things together also... Their times are pretty quick.. like that dude w/ 520hp/600torque.. 11.38 <--? man if an RX had that much power.. i would figure it would do at least 10.8.....

Did you get the tranny looked at? If so what was the problem? Mine is leaking as well. Just wondering of possible problems.

i ended up finding out my shift seals were busted (kept finding tranny oil on top of the tranny where the stick is) and my rear seal was leaking.

If you possibly can, ive heard that this fix is not a completely difficult task, but may take a little bit of time. Charged me 180 bux for shift seals installation. seals only cost upwards of 40 bux..so i got shafted that way too...its so damn hard to find a worthy mechanic who doesnt talk trash about how 'his rx7 blew up'.

Well mine is actually in the shop as we speak getting the tranny looked at. I am not for sure were it is leaking I just know that it won't hold fluid. Right when I fill it up and drive it it will immediately start losing a little bit at a time. Hopefully he doesn't come and tell me I need a new tranny. It might be the rear seal but someone told me one time that they thought there might be a crack in the tranny housing but not for sure how truthful that is. I will keep you posted.
