trany swap ?

I have 2 fd's 1 an automatic, 1 manual. I got into an accident w/ the manual and I want to change the automatic to a manual. I asked a couple of mechanics and they said it's possible to do, but does anyone know if it will cause problems in the future.

its very easy to do since you have both cars! just swap over the stuff like clutch system adn tranny and ecu adn thats it, personnaly id keep the 3.9 gears in the fd if i were you but then again, i like dropping V8's in to them

3.90 taller gears... higher top speed the 4.10's will prove to be a faster launch though

Any one out there that wants to do an auto to manual swap just needs to use the search at the top of the site. There is a ton of tranny swap info on here.
