I was told usdm transmission no longer available.

When I asked about JDM transmission I was told that was also no longer available as well.

I was told maybe some transmission parts are available still. All assemblies for that car are discontinued.

back in my day you used to call and get an answering machine, and the blub was basically "call back during normal business hours" and you'd look at the clock and say, gee 2pm is a pretty normal hour for business!

New rx8 5 speeds are also out of production...

At this point, it starts to make sense just to swap in a T56. They are abundantly available at reasonable prices with endlessly qualified shops to rebuild them.
