Transmission conversion
Need Help!
Ok I im lookin at buyin a 93 Fd3s but its an auto so I want to convert it. How much would it cost to put a six speed in it. If thats not possible then how much would a standard 5 speed for a 93 cost?
Thanks Joe

*edit: but if you really do the swap and are interested in a stock ECU for a '93 FD 5-speed, let me know... i have an extra sitting around in my room taking up valuable desk space

Longhorn ships in 2014........
Hahaha thats funny..
Course this is coming from a guy that will have to start a restoral project BEFORE his car is even done!
Your project, however noble it may be, is akin to Orville and Wilbur Wright finishing their Wright Flyer around 1944, as the Messerschmitt Me 262 was shrieking in the skis over Europe.
The phrase.....A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, comes to mind
Meaning: The things we already have are more valuable than the things we only hope to get
