hmmm?

I can probably answer your question because I rebuilt my trans a few months ago... but I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

their is three shift rods and between them are two large and one small interlocking pins. I need to know if there is a spring there as well. I was cleaning my garage and found a small spring, but I have a 240 that is waiting for a rb20 and I also took apart a 200sx so I don't if it is for the fd or another car.

No I don't think there is a spring in there. There are three bolts with springs and ball bearings under them to make the car stay in gears.... but where the 2 large and 1 skinny interlock pins are there isn't one I don't think.
