tranny

I just pumped in 3qt of red line mt-90. I thought the FD tranny only takes up to 2.6qt. Do i need to keep on pumping the oil untill it over flows? or should i just leave it as 3qt...???

When i did the fluid flush, i removed 2 drain plugs. after removing them i jacked up the car opposite of the holes to get all the fluid out. Next i put as much fluid in that it would take. I then put the car flat again, leveling it off so a little fluid came out, bringing it equal to the drain whole. Did you get every drop of the 3quarts in? i had a bitch of a time not spilling something...

yes that way you'll know its full, which is up to the fill hole. i filled it and with the plugs still out set the car flat on the ground and some excess spilled out. Why yours is completely taking 3 I'm not sure...Which write up did you follow?

Mine was same way. I would leave it, its fine. Overfilling will cause foaming wont it? Anyways the way the gear works is its not supposed top be filled all the way. The gears turn with part of the gears in the oil then while it turns the oil is brought up to lubricate everything else.
