Tranny feel loose (LOL)

It feels weird, like it moves around too much. Is there anything to help this?

Are you talking about the shifter?

The shifter is fine, but sometimes when I am accelerating on 1st or 2nd and have to apply the clutch and brake cause someone stopped suddenly, the tranny seems to move around, the shifter very slightly. It bothers me.

Well, you can get a tranny brace, but honestly a new set of motor mounts will help that movement. Lots of people use a torque brace, tranny brace and various other braces - but new bushings and mounts will definitely help.

Or you could fix the actual problem.

Look for damaged motor mount, cracked PPF, or bad differential bushings.

If I had to choose between fixing one of the above or band-aiding it with a tranny brace, I would fix it.

Install the tranny brace when the stock mountings are working 100% and 100% isn't enough.

The diff bushings are brand new. I will check the motor mounts and see what's up. Thanks
