Expect some minor corrosion of yellow metals in the transmission using a GL-5 fluid, I prefer Amsoil MTG (GL-4)

I use the NEO Synthetic 75-90 RHD, that's expensive, but damn good

Ive got a mix of about 75% redline MT90 and 25% lucas 75-90 right now and the car has never shifted better. Ive actually got some synchros on their way out so it hasnt shifted well for the last 2 seasons. I did my annual fluid change and I ran out of the redline so topped it up with the lucas. For a fairly worn transmission it shifts VERY well.

This is usually how these threads go, everyone votes for their pet oil and throws in a "it's never shifted better etc" (completely subjective comment - and essentially worthless scientifically)

Didn't we just get done kicking this around a month ago?
