I think Knight sports makes a hood like that, also.

Yes VIS and Seibon make replicas of that depending on your taste ie carbon or fiberglass

I have looked on the site, but can't find it. Hey JDM can a mazdaspeed hood be part of the knight sports replica group buy?

The fitment isn't that bad. Most after market hoods I see have the bow in them. Even if they cost over 1g. I was just wondering what company it was.

RX187- I am still looking into the group buy with VIS. Next time I talk with them, I will ask.

What's up with the little bulge at the bottom of the bumper on the left side? I didn't know the HKS V-mount kit includes a "take away airflow" option.

Anyways - nice shot. The motorcycle visor makes you look really fast!

Guess he means the reflective iridium-coated faceshield on your Arai helmet. Is that an automotive Arai? I found those damn things to be heavier than hell, due to the chin bar being so large; I just use the motorcycle ones. Same protection, less weight, and less chance of breaking your collarbone if you're not wearing a "collar" in a crash.

Any more V-mount intake temp data?

Yes, automotive...they are lighter than motorcycle ones for sure...

Breaking a collar bone due to a heavy helmet?

Wear a neck brace.....

Uh...you mean the opposite. The automotive Arais I tried were fuggin' lead weights compared to the motorcycle Arais. Remember, both helmets have to pass the same standards, so the shells are basically the same. But the automotive ones have a huge chin bar (I guess to work better with the aerodynamics in an open-wheel cockpit), adding a lot of weight. The motorcycle ones have a different shield system as well.

That's what I meant when I said "wearing a collar". I just wear the motorcycle ones, since I'm used to them. Slightly better peripheral vision, too.

Cossie, sweet pic!

Love the visor! I had thought about replacing my visor with one after the winter. Do those really help with the sun? I hate jamming sunglasses in my helmet on those sunny days.
