TPS installation.(direction of connector)
I have a slight "problem".
I need to know in which Direction the TPS is installed.
does the connector Face "front"(towards the Throttle body's Mouth)?.or does it face "back",like towards the manifold?
The reason being,is that I can't get the TPS to adjust to the ECU.It keeps making the car buck and chuck.
This engine setup is a FC TII engine with a FD upper conversion.FD TPs is being used, and yes,the wiring is correct
Thanks Guys,STYX.

the grey harness connector (orange portion) faces towards the passenger side of the car. The TPS itself faces towards the brake booster/cruise control etc on an FD, or towards the driver's side corner of the engine bay.
When you install the TPS, insert it with the connector portion of it facing up (towards the hood), then rotate it 90 degrees counter-clockwise to get the mechanism to engage properly. Sounds like it's not installed properly.

The 90 degree thing: I never knew about that, and frankly that could be why I have had problems since the FD upper conversion.(not installing the damn thing right)
I will try that and see if there is a difference.
Right now though, the car seems Fine(with Tps dangling on the harness, not physically screwed on to the throttle body),although I haven't been Boosting like a Crazy Man.,just puttering around town and givin it a shot every once in awhile.
