TPS install

I had the TPS off of the throttle body to clean. Installing TPS, when you move it to adjust...should you feel any resistance from the spring? Should you wind it before bolting down?

You should feel some resistance from the spring. If you are confused about how to reinstall it read post #9 in this thread:

Did you mark where it was before you removed it? If not you will need to readjust. Here's Chuck Westbrook's how-to:

You rock! Thanks for the link. I searched all night for that info; I used "TPS+Install" as key words, got nothing. I was thinking that something was wrong...I saw a spring inside the TPS, but no resistance when moving it around on the Throttle body. I thought the same thing you did, it should fit in the slot. But nooo...not these RX7 engineers. It was probably done by the same guy who thought that the fuel filter should go on top of the differential.
