I found the duplicolor chaste white (PT) at napa. It matches very well.

I'm looking for VR touch-up paint too -- a pen or small bottle. Anyone have a good source for VR?

Automotivetouchup.com can also match the factory paint. I ordered from them before.

Thanks. I ordered pens of vintage red and clear from them. After it arrives in a week or so I'll post my opinion.

+1. Comes with both a pen and brush. Looks like "MAZDA NU" for VR.

The pens I ordered from automotivetouchup.com arrived the other day. The VR is a little too dark, but I suppose the original paint on my car might have gotten lighter over the years. Also, I should not have ordered paint in pens. The pen tip is actually like the felt in a marker -- too wide and imprecise for fine work. A little brush would have been better for my circumstances.

Good to know. I was going to order some VR as well and I am suspecting I will have the same issue (fading). But my bumpers/mirrors are a different shade of red than the metal parts on the car. I have some primer and metal deep chips I need to get covered.

If it's single-stage paint and non-metallic, some light buffing beforehand may help. Just use some clean enamel reducer (brake parts cleaner works in a pinch, just don't soak it). But almost by definition touch-up paint isn't going to be a perfect match.

Depending on the lighting, the mirrors and front bumper on my car also look darker than the metal parts. (The rear bumper not so much.) The touch-up paint is probably a bit too dark even for the plastic parts. So, it's best for small spot touchup in relatively inconspicuous locations.
