DUDE! Look at that road!!! WHY in the HELL would you drive your FD on a road like that?!?! I wouldn't even drive on that road if the FD had super swamper tires on it! You're ******* lucky you didn't hurt yourself...

Holy cow I can't believe some people.....

Don't expect any sympathy after you wreck your BWM. Obviously your parents didn't do a very good job of teaching you or your sister to drive, or respect the value of vehicles.

I'm glad I'm leaving this board. Everyone is so negative, and biased against younger people who can afford an RX7. Sorry, I forgot to mention that they had put a bunch of new gravel on the road the day before, so it was alot worse than it usually is. It was never that bad. And I can care less about wrecking the car. I'm just thankful that I wasn't hurt or killed in that wreck. And then there are some who blame my driving!?!? You don't need to blame my parents adam c. We respect our vehicles around here. My dad currently is having a 1950 Chevy truck restored, with 20 inch rims, air bag suspension, and an LS6 to power it. And my brother had a 97 Camaro SS, he's at school at SAM Racing building his motor to no less than 600 hp. Thats enough from me. Sorry that I was a young kid who could afford a car like this. Thats what it all comes down to.

So, you obviously knew the gravel was there, and yet you still drove too fast......even knowing you had bald tires.

Seems to me that people on this forum DO CARE about their cars. Nice of you to inform us that you don't. Wrecked a rare car and don't care. You make me sick!!

Oh, by the way, the expression is: "couldn't care less"

Don't you mean a young kid who's parents could afford a car like this.

Hope you don't hurt anyone else when you wreck the BMW.

Don't try to pass off that bullshit that this forum hates young drivers. You're a moron for driving the car in conditions like that. I'm pissed that you could afford a car like that and I can't.

Well then, allow me say this.

It f*cking pisses me off that you wreck a gorgeous and rare 3rd Generation RX-7 through your own carelessness and negligence.

It really f*cking pisses me off when you go on to say things like "I was selling it anyway--I got rid of it sooner than I expected."

Your cavalier and flippant attitude about the whole incident makes me sick to my stomach. After checking your profile, I'm not surprised to see that you were born in 1984.

What? What did I do [rich has halo over his head ]? The responses were positive (including one of mine) until I got the avalance started in a reaction to his most recent posts.

Agent712, it's the way you typed all this stuff up----you come off as:

"Well, I was going to sell it, but I wrecked it, so it's all the same to me. I didn't care that my tires were bald and figured I could just drive on bad roads, no big deal. I mean, there are maybe 12,000 FDs left in the country, who cares if I wreck one? There's a bunch left. I love my shiny new Bimmer anyway. Peace out, guys."

And I'm not supposed to get pissed?

Speaking of people who dont appreciate having a rarer car, I've heard of someone locally who actually purposely totalled his perfectly fine 93 MB FD after he couldn't sell it for what he wanted.

It is good that you didn't hurt yourself, but you are full of . No 15 mph can do that to a bridge.
Too bad for the car though. From what you write and did, you didn't deserve it anyway. I would love to own a car like that, but I can't afford it yet. You see I pay for my own bills.

Seems like everyone's kind of over-reacting, don't ya think? Whether he was an idiot and was going to fast - read: faster than 15 as he claims - or not he could have possibly been seriously injured in that wreck, yet he walked away with nothing worse than a totalled *CAR*.

Other than the ongoing soap-opera that is my car, I love it, but to be honest if I were in an accident in which it was totalled I'd be more relieved that I got out of it with my life than lamenting the loss of my car. There are some things more important in life than an RX-7, you know...yes, even a rare FD

It kind of makes me sick to see people get so worked up over a material object. With that, I'm getting off my soapbox before it catches fire.....
