I'm sorry. I thought it the accident was the county's fault. Now I realize it was the concrete that is to blame.

Please, could you just stop posting stupid things on this thread that I have to constantly come back and prove wrong since they ARE wrong? You are wasting my time and it's really getting annoying.
Sorry to waste so much of your time by making you reply on a forum that you are not even a member of. Why don't you put your time to better use?? No one is forcing you to come here to defend your intelligent little brother.

I'm serious, you guys here on rx7club.com have some serious issues. I don't see it near as bad in other forums. You guys are the absolute WORST about this. SO GROW UP!
As a car enthusiast, you should understand how much time and money some people put into their cars. If your little brother had driven your car, that you have probably put hundreds of hour of work into, off the bridge, and into the creek, would you be defending him. Would you say it's ok, and try to put the blame elsewhere. I think not. You would be pissed!!

Since the FD is a rare car, and members on this forum are FD enthusiasts, we don't want to see them destroyed. We especially don't want them destroyed by people who don't seem to care. My FD is my pride and joy. I would be devestated if it were destroyed. I think many others on this forum feel the same way. Your brother doesn't seem to care, and that's what pisses people off.

I agree with you.. I want to keep my FD as long as possible.. but I do realize that some point, **** will happen and I'll loose this thing.. hope I don't go with it And hopefully I could get another.. I'm even thinking about getting an another FD.. even though I have 2 other cars.. and never drive my FD.. I completely understand what you mean though.. I have that same passion.. I think??

Sheesh, when will this debate stop? People... try driving on this road over 15 mph that day and you would have gone off the road LONG before the bridge. Can't you guys read and understand???

wow you guys are so smart!

Wow, just from looking at a picture you can all tell what happened that day and what condition that bridge was in and how slickery and what not the road was and how fast he was going. It doesn't take much to make a dent in an FD, much less any car. Maybe you all missed ONE important fact. THE CAR FELL!! AFTER it went through the bridge border made of praktikly tin and old stone. your cars are light, but not that light 2800 lbs. is quite a bit. duh der. none of you have ANY idea what happened but it went off the road. some cars get in bigger accidents and little damage is done, ya just never know. leave it alone. and like i said your cars are weak so maybe it just crushes easily, i'm sure none of you would know how easily it crushes cuz NONE of you perfekt saints have ever gotten in an accident, and if you have just think if your little fender bender or whatever had a bridge border and a 20 foot drop just feet away. think about it. fools.

The only reason I'm even reading this crap is because I'm amazed how pathetic some of my fellow RX-7 owners/enthusiasts can be.

I'm sorry, but this is the kind of thread that makes me embarassed to be a part of this forum. Whether the kid was in the wrong, or said something he shouldn't have, this has gotten so blown out of proportion it's ridiculous.

Time for me to go back to reading up on ECUs....
