Totaled my FD today

Hi guys...I can't believe I'm writing this right now...but it true. I totaled my FD 30 minutes ago. The only car I ever loved is now dead! The car that I invested so much time, care and money is now sitting somewhere tottaly fucked up because I was an idiot. I guess I never deserved a car like the this. I can only pray to God that I didn't kill my friend or somebody else. Hopefully you guys can learn from my mistake and not **** up like me.

I was driving through a corner and and the rear went out of control and I just slammed into a rail...the hit ripped my front wheel right off. Now the whole right side is messed up, even my door can't open.

I'm 22 years old and I thought I was mature enough to own I car like this, I guess I was wrong. To all you young people out there please be smart and and learn from my mistake...

He really means overestimating the car and his ability to control it.

Don't worry, get another one and do some auto-x events or learn car control in big open industrial parking lots. These cars can be a handful compared to some other N/A cars. You have to know when the boost is about to come on strong....and know in cool weather that the boost will come in much harder.

I have had my tail step out under boost @ 85mph in a corner and was fine. Hold the wheel lightly and let it do the talking until you have the car set again.... AND STAY IN THE THROTTLE!!

look at him, already trying to line up another project after the CYM. im sorry about the accident. DONT PART IT OUT, take you time and slowly put it back together. theres only so many of these cars out there and we need to keep them on the road. **** the love of my life(my FD) got wrecked, but it actually wasnt my fault, it was hit by a drunk driver, and im slowly but surely getting it back together and eventually it will be back on the road. it all depends on how much you love the car and if its worth it. if i was you id fix it. yea its gonna take some time and money but it will be worth it!! good luck and i hope you make the right decision!

That must be the most ignorant sentence I read in last couple of weeks.
There are 30mph corners and there are 150mph corners. And you dont know what kind of corner that was, so how can you say doing 65 in a corner is a recipe for disaster ?

Such things are quite common if you go to the race track and go fast. Sometimes you step over the limit and tail steps out and racetrack is the best place to learn how to control such situations. I think having a high-performance driving school and exam obligatory prior to driving such a car would be good for community

there's a difference between a bend and a corner. A corner most likely implies there is a significant angle in the turn, and at 115km/h that would most likely require a drift...and on public roads, drifting is asking for trouble. whatever.

Hope you get her back on the raod again
