top speed on 4.3 final drive

Have anyone tried top speed with 4.3 final drive? Stock 4.1 can reach 160+mph. Wonder how high can the 4.3 go to?

Are you talking about the top speed capability of the gearing or how fast the car will actually go (assuming a stock car). A stock base/touring car will go approximately 161-163 mph, while R-models top out at 157-159 mph. But the stock 4.1 gearing allows for a top speed of about 200 mph. 4.3 gearing will reduce the top speed to ~185mph.

downforce/drag/frontal area from front spoiler ? (I've heard the rear spoiler doesn't significantly affect much, but the front spoiler does)

Unless the speedo is way off, This statement is not correct.

I took mine to 165 on the speedo and was only at approx 6,000 rpm...when almost bone stock

Your speedo was wrong. Most speedos are optimistic by several mph at those speeds.

Every car mag test I've seen puts top R-model speed at 157-159 mph. The base and tourings have a better Cd (0.29 vs 0.31) and so top out at 161-163 mph.

At 80 mph in 5th my engine is at 3100 rpm. So thats 0.025806 mph/rpm.

0.025806 mph/rpm X 8000 rpm = 206.45 mph theoretical top speed in 5th.

And 93 R1, your 6000 rpm was actually probably closer to 6300 at 165 Or, as rynberg suggested, your actualy speed was closer to 160.
