Took car out on the G-Tech for first time!
hardbodeez,
One of the G-tech's features is that you can upload the results to a PC. How about posting your .gtp file for that run? I can view it and let you know if your unit is properly calibrated.
I don't know what your mods are, but for reference, I recently dyno'd at 350RWHP and only trap 117MPH with my G-tech.

I have one of the older G-Tech's. There is no output to upload to PC. What's the difference if it's properly calibrated, nobody thinks the G-Tech's accurate anyway.
It doesn't really matter what my mods are, the bottom line is that it is still the stock twins. I'm not gonna post mods and have everyone rip it apart and say that there's no way it should be going that fast.
We can't compare cars this far away from each other. Driving styles, temperature, elevation all play a little bit of a role. And maybe your launches are just as bad as mine.

LOL...
I think Hardbodies... won't say his MOD's because
there is NO way in HELL that he would have a
120mph+ trap speed..
Probably bone stock, OK maybe a Catback and Intake.
haha 120MPH++ traps. LOL

I put this thread up for any help I can get to make the car go quicker, not to brag about shitty mid 12 second passes. Like I said before, you're a geek, and don't post anymore on my thread.

2) The tires....what do I go with? I can buy Hoosier Quick Time Pro's and the car will stick like glue. But they would have to be mounted on my stock rims and only used to run someone. Or, buy the new BFGoodrich g-force drag radial which now comes in an 275/35/18. But I highly doubt they'll hook totally, and probably not work after a month. Don't forget these would be 18" drag radials not the 16" most people use....I don't know, anyone have any experience with these tires?
3) I read through that manual and it said nothing about setting rollout. As soon as you move the timer starts counting, so I don't think there is rollout allowed on this.
Also, what do you think would be a better all around handling tire for this car? The Bridgestone Potenza S-O3 or the BFGoodrich G-Force KD?

2. Almost any performance tire by any brand will be better than the tires you have on there. Go to www.tirerack.com and look for tires in the "max" and "ultra high" performance categories. Avoid the Kumho 712, although the Kumho MX has gotten good reviews.
3. The newer G-tech has an adjustable rollout feature, yours may not. It has an effect on ET and trap speed.
The BFG KD is the best pure dry street tire there is. However, it doesn't handle rain very well at all. The top tires would be BFG KD, Bridgestone S-03, Yoko AVS Sport, Toyo T1-S, Pirelli Pzero, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, and Goodyear GS-D3.

Let me get this straight. You have very little money, and a poorly tuned FD. You don't take care of it at all because you have no money for the upkeep. You hang out with street racers at night and set-up races because you have the biggest mouthpiece there and no fast car to back it up with. I can see it now..."Hey what do you have done?, Mr. what mods do you have?, What a pimpin ride!!" You're the little Rat Boy, 155 pound bigmouth that does nothing but cause ****, because you're jealous .
You yourself can only manage a low 14 because: 1)You can't drive. 2)Your car is a beater that has nothing but a stumble between turbos, 3)You've got no money to make the car any faster, and 4)YOU'VE GOT NO MONEY TO MAKE THE CAR ANY FASTER!
It's ALWAYS the slower cars, mostly punk kids who have nothing better to do than put down the quicker cars. My car would SMOKE yours anywhere....Handling, Braking, Acceleration, Top Speed, Looks, and most of all Worth!
Another Internet Toughguy, speaking his filthy mouth freely because there is no repremand to deal with. No wonder Jim Labs is scrapping all the time...look what he's got to deal with.
But above all else, the Canadian comment showed what a class act you really are.
Look kid, go save up your money from all your paper routes and one day you'll have a decent car to back up that big mouth of yours.
