apex seal lubricating rubber hose

Okay guys.......i'll try and explain this the best i can. I just started swapping my engine today.......everything was smooth going. Except that i noticed a transparent hose (which carries engine oil to lubricate the apex seals) cracked.......and was leaking. The two hoses goes in to two separate holes ( near the primary injectors). That is basically the transparent hose under the plate which is in turn under the upper intake manifold. My question is:

are those hoses available to buy?? then where??

I'll post pics as soon as i can. The hose joins up with a ring sorta thing with a nipple. both ends. Is it possible to replace the hose only??

moehler, why do you suggest that?? is it because the flow wont be proper? or it is because of the fear of the new (temporary)hose cracking?

thanks

Hey just buy the hose from your local dealer...they are really really cheap .....I bought them both for probably less than 20 total.....and they really last along time....I dont think you need aluminum hoses...

Actually their stainless steel lines and you could make them cheaper than what Gotham sells them for. They are from Goodridge (the lines).

Describe how your engine blew and we'll speculate as to whether this was the reason or not.
