My CYM broke 50K. I wish I could keep this thing new but I like driving it to much.

Amen brother! Why spend a bunch of money on the car and have it sitting up? Remind me of guys that have girlfriends or wives and won't knock the dust off the coochie 'cause they think they look too good.

Hey guys some people don't buy these cars to drive the **** out of them. I specifically bought my car to enjoy on nice weekends and at the track. I'm not saying 50k miles is something to complain about, but I take pride in having a 94 with only 69,000 miles.

the best thing to do is to put it in a bulletproof glass nuclear bomb shelter with auto climate control. and put that in your living room.

3-4K? Even my TRACK CBR does that many K's in a year. My pedal bike does that in 4-5 months.

cars are meant to be driven. the only pride you can take in your car's low mileage is in relation to other's, and how much you can brag about it. unless you plan on loving your car according to its monetary value, which is a big no no.

cars are meant to be driven. if you want a low mileage car, lease them. congradulations, i guess? chinaman good analogy with the dust and coochie. i have a friend with 18k miles on his 93 RX-7 and hes at loss for what to do. he wants to build it up, but a part of him wants to keep it stock and drive it rarely. either way, congrats on owning a CYM. that in itself is a great enough victory.

its like putting an ATM machine or a hot dog stand on "display". there are reasons the FD is revered and loved, aka looks and the way it drives. how can you appreciate all that without driving it ? you might as well just have a huge diecast model made for yourself. if you want to collect ****, go collect some stamps or coins, that'll make your life complete.

I didn't like it when my car turned 50K. I won't like it when it turns 60K either. I don't drive it much, and I think I appreciate it even more because of that. Here in Central Ca., it has been raining for what seems like an eternity. On that rare "dry pavement" day, it feels great to get the car out and get on it a bit. I don't think I would appreciate it as much if I drove it every day.

Besides all that, I get about 9 mpg most of the time . 91 octane (the highest we get here) is about $3.30 a gallon. That's another reason I don't drive it that much.

My CYM just broke 46,000 miles on friday -

With the amount I drive it a year, I'll hit 50,000 miles in 3 years

At a track day at Road Atlanta recently, I averaged 12 mpg over 6 sessions. You need to tune that thing or find out why your getting rotten mileage.

I'm at 85K on my 93. Drive it whenever I want to smile. The only reason the low mileage enters my head isn't resale value, it's that I won't have to replace things that people with 150K now on the chasis have to start worrying about.
