Do you have 245/45/16 in front? Any rubbing? Is your suspension stock? I am thinking of using this size the next time I change tires.

Anyways, I guess it would be close to 32 psi. Maybe 33 psi is good. Over by a few lbs is okay where as under is not good, esecially with a low profile tire.

Have 245/45/16 on mine as well. That is a perfect size for the stock setup. Mazda should have done that from the factory. I currently have Bridgestone Potenza s-02 pole postions but I am in the market for new tires b/c these are pretty much at the wear indicators. I was looking at the new S-03's. Anyone heard of anything good or bad about these tires?

ONE TIRE:

Yokohama A032R!!!!!!!!!!!

I just bought a set thanks to the recommendations of others (thanks Josh) and they are great. They haved saved my life once since I got them (a week ago) and I have tried many times in safe places, but I cannot get them to break lose. Maybe I just need more power

Also, I use 32 rear and 30 front.

Yeah those are sweet tyres , too bad they'll only last around 10 000kms when street driven, kinda of a waste imho, unless your freq with autox, cuz they're wicked ax tyres

Did you know a 245 in one brand could be wider or narrower than a 245 in another brand. 245 is the width in mm. but its just a factory rating, a tire can be anywhere 240mm to 250mm to be classified a 245. So some 245's may fit a certain car and some won't. ex. michelin wider than a bridgestone. And the factory tire pressure is just to keep the car performing like the maker intended. They say the wider the tire the lower the tire pressure should be to make it perform like factory. But its all just preferance as long as you don't go over the max on the side of the tire.
