Tips on changing spark plugs?

Its about that time again...time to change the spark plugs. Just wondering whether anyone has an easier suggestion to changing the spark plugs, other than removing all the crap on top....oil tower, etc. thanks.

Yea, much easier to just jack the car up and get to all 4 plugs from underneath the driverside of the car.

Get a set of ramps if you don't already have one. change the plugs from the bottom, dont need to remove anything. It only takes about 15 min to do.

You don't have to remove anything.

I just did mine today and took about 15-20 minutes. I go from the top and use a 4" extension only on the rear housing.

Alot easier to go from the bottom but I didn't feel like busting out the jack and stands.

Thanks guys/gals...I'll try that later. My only question now, is that the last time I changed my plugs, I remeber there being something blocking the way.....making it very hard to remove the boot....I think it was the oil tower, but not sure..

If you are going in from the bottom, there is only one plug that's going to be a little blocked. It's the trailing plug for the front rotor, it is part of the engine wiring harness that gets in the way. The other 3 are all clear.

Someone mentioned to me that a special socket might be needed since the spark plug is in a narrow opening. Is this true?
