Timing mark front 'pulley' FD
#2
timing? you might want to do a little more research... or maybe i do... there isn't a "timing" belt on the 13b-rew (or rotaries in genearl) that i'm aware of. what is there to time? ignition is all electronic, there's no cams or valves or anything like that to time.
if nothing else, considder this a free bump.

The manual states:
Ignition timing
Trailing side: 20 deg. ATDC (-20 deg. BTDC)
Leading side: 5 deg. ATDC (-5 deg. BTDC)
Also states that it is set at the factory and you shouldn't touch it. Hope that is the information you need.

Thanks for your replies-I think we are getting close. Just to clarify--when the v in the front 'pulley' lines up with the timing mark on the front cover how many degrees of crank rotation are we looking at.
Could it be TDC or is it something else?
I realise the ignition timing is factory set. I also realise there are no cams to dial in as well
