For those of you who have done tranny swaps....
I'm in the middle of taking my bad mission(no reverse gear constitutes as a bad mission)out and putting in a "good" mission.
Started at 4:30 p.m. and got the mission out and swapped over all my OS Giken stuff to the good one...
First time I've done this(on ANY car)...so my question is...
How long does it take for you guys to change missions?
Am I taking too long or what? Dragon says he can do the whole swap in about 2 hours(with smoke breaks...and he's a HEAVY smoker).
...on a side note, for any of you who haven't done this yet, remember to drain the mission fluid first...I've taken 2(TWO) showers and my hair still smells like that stuff

Hey Jspecracer,
I'm not sure if I can finish in about 2 hours but if it is a basic pullout and put in a new one it might be 3-4 hours with an air compressor and air tools (for the ppf/diff bolts and other miscellaneous bolts). The first time I did swapped trannies it took about 6-9 hours. It definitely gets easier the second time you do it. The first time it took me forever to take off just the clutch release collar but now it's a snap. Be careful to line the throwout bearing properly you might have to take the whole tranny out again - not that it's ever happened to me before . Later --Tommy
