those who installed a drivers side lock actuator....
I have been working on my keyless entry andhave some issues. I located the Lock and unlock wires but they must not have enough current to run the actuator I bought. Without having to install 2 additional relays, where can I hook up the actuator wires?
I did notice that there is a drivers side relay, but nothing is marked. I did notice where the Lock and Unlock wire hook into the relay, but im not sure where the wires on the otherside of the relay are.
If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks!

The aftermarket actuator requires quite a bit of current to run. You'll *have to* run a couple of relays, unless the keyless entry has relays built in.
Check this out. There'e a wiring diagram you can follow.

thanks insane I actually found that diagram, I cant find a relay that has 87 and 87A. My two relays have 2 87 relays, when I tried to wire it up, it blows the fuse.
I was bringing this up because the passenger side door unlocks, I should be able to tap into the wires that go to the passenger side (after the drivers side relay).
Anyone?

I had the same problem with my keyless. Its better in the long run to just wire up a Relay to open the driver side doors, the right side door will open automatical as long as you dont remove the lock/unlock switch from the drives side....but make sure you disconnect the door switchs from the stock alarm or it wil be going off all the time. leave eveything else there but the doors and door switchs, that way your dome light will still come on..... I also have a wa to make sure do never have to worry about turning off your sidemarkers lights to, if you would like to hear.

thanks I bought 2 relays today for lock and unlock so I will just do it that way.
As far as the alarm I plan on sending the negagive pulse from the ulock wire into the alarm disable wire. That way my alarm should work, but not go off when I do the keyless entry thingy.
