Koni Yellows: 1/4 turn from full hard on the fronts, 1/2 turn from full soft on the rears.

BFG KDW's for auto-x and street use. Kumho Victoracers for track, and Hawk HP+ for pads.

Camber: -1.3 degrees all around
Caster: +6.0 degrees
Toe: 1/16" out (F); 1/16" in (R)

Replaced the stock Al bushings on rear. Thinking about polyurethane bushings for when I move into ASP class for auto-x.

what i had in mind was either the koni shocks with some non progressive rate springs or teh tein HA coilovers which coudl be had for about the same price, i guess i will get teh pillowball mounts as well... by the way thi sis also a street car so i dont want somethign way too harsh that i cant drive over little potholes and be afraid of my whole frame cracking in half. how hard were the unobotanum bushings compared to stock 94 touring ones? also what type of an IC and Rad. do u run?

thanx

If you're not worried about class restrictions (mostly SCCA SoloII stuff), then get the Tein HA's. Search in the suspension forum ... there's entire threads about the HA's. SleepR1 recommends the H&R springs for more progressive rates.

Harder bushings will mean a rougher ride. If you want a daily driver and a racer, you might want to stick with the stock bushings. If you're going to be serious about road racing, I highly recommend upgrading the stock radiator and the stock IC. Fluidyne, Koyo, Mazdacomp all have very good Aluminum radiators. Fluidyne is a well known and has a straight drop-in that works. Koyo is a little thicker (better for cooling) but has some fitment issues. Mazdacomp is a little expensive.

Tons of IC's out there. Do a search on this forum.

well i am familiar withteh IC somewhat and i do search as well as try to read all that is said here, i have somewhat of a understandign that "if u road race/autox get a larger SMIC drag get a FMIC" i havent really found any comparisons from m2, apexi greddy and all those... and i dont have and 3rd gen people aroudn where i live that are serious about road racing...

about springs i dont like progressive rate springs... i was thinking if i get konis i would get somethign like suspenshion techniques (dont remember who else makes non progressive springs)

about the rules i am more then sure i will get one thing that will kick me out of the stock class...so..

this is not a daily driver, but iw ill drive it on teh street when there is good weather out was just wondering if the unubotanum bushings are way too stiff? we have somewhat of good raods around here but accasional long construction seasons seem to last all year round sometimes

thanx a lot guys u are very helpfull, keep it comming

I use mazdaspeed coilovers with 17 inch Volk TE-37's
235/45/17 in the front 255/40/17 in the rear, using S03 pole positions. Also the most important thing, I have project Mu brakes, the braking system in your car is something you absolutely cannot overlook when road racing.

hey 1bad7,

you have n1 dampers too ?
Is it turning to the right to make it stiffer, or the other way ? I barely noticed any difference.
