Why, it will kill your resale value (unless it is a pure race car). Isn't it hot there? I personally don't need a sauna whenever I drive the car in the summer. It's not hurting anything except a little weight and slight drag for the pully...

I say take it out if it cleans up the engine bay, I've taken just about everything that I can.

I'd love to take mine out. Unfortunantly I live in the valley so I'm lucky if I see weather in the 70's.

i'd keep it, its really not worth yanking it all out.. if you want to get rid of something on that pulley side, get rid of your power steering. A/C is a must, think about rain and crap like that, when you need to defrost....

I think you can just disable the a/c by unplugging the wire that goes to the a/c compressor. That way you can plug it back in whenever you need it again. Anybody know where this plug might be located?

I think it is a white plug that just runs off the back of the AC comp or maybe even pulling the relay will work. But wants the point to just unpluging the AC? The only reason i took my out is cause battery acid torn some of it up and it never worked anyways.

Yeah, well my ac doesnt cool for **** and the condesor and just blocking cold air to my radiator.. I figured I could get away with taking out the condensor and leaving the compressor in just incase.. Any idea on what you need to do to remove condesor?
