I think i just found a 7. let me know if you guys think that it is worth it.
93 rx7(not sure of edition)
new motor replaced by factory(not rebuilt) only has 1000 miles on it. under warranty for 24K miles. the car itself has 70K on it and that is under warranty until sept. it is bone stock otherwise. it is red and interior is tan. clean interior no peeling. anything i should check out furhter more before comitting my self to buying. i really want it but need to know what else before i buy. i will be installing a boost gauge the day i get it. EVERYTHING FROM ANYONE, PLEASE.

Sounds pretty good to me. Since you've got the warranty (is it a Mazda factory warranty, or 3rd party?), there probably isn't much point in the compression test. Drive it, confirm no 5th gear grind (a common problem) by shifting quickly into 5th, and otherwise just check it out as you would any used car.

okay guys a little help. here is the vin. can someone get me a car fax report? also the car was amde in 8/92. the fifth gear does grind and its under warranty so it will be fixed free of charge. there is a lot of little things wrong with it that may persuade me to buy another. sure it has a new motor, but without a decent car what good is the motor. there was a small fender bender in the front left bumper area where he said it was hit by a car backing up. the front lower turn signal lense on the bumper was broken and the bumper was hit up a bit. there was also a lot of the window trim on the outside that was pulled back and seemed like water in there could cause rust. the interior was decent but TAN. i was hoping for black. the RED is fading BAD. he would not go lower than 16.5K and that is what will make it hard for me to buy. i drove, love it, and am hooked. i will be buying one. hopefully a 94 without all the paint fading problems. well, get me this carfax, PLEASE.

if he doesnt come down a little i wont buy.

Based on the info in your last post I would think you could find another car in better condition for the same money. Just be patient and keep looking around and you'll find what you want for the money you want to spend. I just found the one I want to buy after about 4 months of looking. Good luck in your search!
