please dont break anything that requires you to order a replacement, that would jsut kill time. If you got to break something, do it today, so at least you can order over night delivery

Looks like I won't be able to get it done on time. I couldn't get my turbo manifold made because of delay trying to produce the Gotham Racing Stage 3 turbo manifold for a customer at the last minute so that he could attend the Rotary Revolution. I'm currently getting a FMIC, roll cage made and also installing the stage 3 manifold in my red car so that I could use the T88 turbo. Hopefully I can get all the stuff done in time by tomorrow so I can actually run this weekend. Looks like I'll be tuning my car on the street in IN friday night. Back to my cym, So far I have fabricated the ignition coil system for the car and mounted on top of the engine. Here's a pic of it.. I ran into problems late last night when I tried to install the FD throttle body onto the 20B UIM. The idle control runner needs to be welded or it'll have a major leak going into the engine so I spend a few hrs trying to think of a way to use the 20B TB to the Greddy elbow and decided to just go ahead and weld the hold shut on the FD TB instead. The only thing left on the haltech wiring is the TPS sensor, air temp, trigger power, gnd, fuel pump and water temp. I'm pretty close on the project (probably about 3 days behind expected but will get it done by next week for sure. i'll post more pics when I have new things to add.

Sorry to hear you didn't make your time deadline but now there is no more rush to finish the car.
Coming from a fellow CYM owner, i assure you that a 20B CYM is a fantasy of mine

I haven't done much to my car since I got back from RR. I have to fabricate some stuff to make things fit correctly. Oil filler neck (angle is wrong with the FD TB and Greddy EB), FD water pump assembly needs modification using FC style inlet. I wired up the OMP to the E11 last night and also finish up with most of the electrical wires. I still need to do the fuel system and still trying to figure out if I could actually use the AEM ignition amp on those LS1 coils. I don't want to blow the ignitior up before the car runs. LOL. I'll get back into it as soon as I'm done with customer's car. Too many engines to port and rebuild :-/

I got the car running today. It sounds mean. The install wasn't near complete but I wanted to make sure my wiring on the haltech works before finishing up. I ran into problems on wiring the ignition coil and spend the last few days trying to figure out on what was causing it. I rewired the ignition system and it finally ran. Next step is to finish up with the wiring, install the radiator, turbo manifold, turbo, exhaust system, IC etc... and I'll be done and ready to enjoy this long project. Can't wait to drive it!!!!.......

He cut the firewall and shortened the drive shaft. other conversions i remember, like petitt's were simpler and there were some issues with the steering geometry, etc. i'm sure all of these issues have been resolved. the subframe on your car seems to have moved the motor down a bit as well. what's the story with subframes and should i have someone make one or is there someone selling frames that work well?
thanks,
gordon

and, yes... i did sell my car and have been toodling around in my 94 (a year older car?) porsche turbo for the past year. i did boost the power to 440 rwhp in order not to think i was in a civic. its very nice, but i really miss the 7 and wish i hadn't sold it in many ways. so, i'm starting over.
question... are people using the TECIII or what for the 20b? should i check over in the computer forum?
thanks,
gordon

E11, Link, or a Microtech.
I use a Microtech in mine. The E11 is nice for tach conversion, for there is an output reducer from my understanding. With the Microtech, I had to buy a converter from Dakota Digital.

I haven't touched the car since the rotary revolution. I should have some free time to get back into it hopefully next week or the week after. The latest update is that I got the engine running with the E11. (no radiator, i/c or turbo in it yet so I couldn't run it for long). Artguy has a video of me starting the engine in his digicam.

I heard the beast alive. albeit, no exhaust on it yet so it was shooting flames out of the 3 exhaust ports.
VERY NICE Steve, minus the "RIG"-a-mortis goin on under tha hood (for the time being.)
