additionally there was company who did aircraft oil cooler repairs who all did the RX-7. Anyone remember their name and have their contact info.

I would contact them and send them the pictures. They will give you better info.

 

it looks like it is just the top and not part of the cooling tubes and may be out of the direct flow. So it may not need to be straightened
