i think his seats were originally black, just starting to fade.

but, would this work with tan seats? or is that too much to ask for

Right. My seats are originally black, but were exhibiting some wear and fading around the side bolsters. The Kit just makes them look a lot newer.

I think the black dye will cover any colored seat. May take a few extra coats, but it should work.

Thanks bro. The great thing about this Kit is that it only took about 30-40 minutes per seat to finish. And the Kit only cost $39.00. And I still have 2/3rds of the solution left over. So 40 divided by 3 is about 13.33. 13.33 devided by 2 is 6.66. So it cost $6.66 per seat to Dye them. Not a bad deal.
