There's something magical about "leathermagic" (pics of my seats)

I read a thread not too long ago on the Forum about this product the member had bought to dye his seats. I was very impressed with his seat so I decided to try the product. These photos were taken 15 minutes after I finished dyeing the last seat.

It only took about 30 minutes per seat. They will be conditioned tomorrow morning which will give them a nice deep sheen. Great product, and I only used about 1/3rd of the dye and other solutions supplied with the kit. What do you'all think??

I didn't take any before photos, but the seat bolsters and overall color was pretty faded. They look brand new now compared to the condition before the dye was applied.

The kit consists of Dye, Pre-Dye solution, Leather Conditioner, small piece of sand paper, Pair of surgical type gloves, and instructions. If your seats are exhibiting wear/fade areas, this kit will solve that problem.

I wonder if your pants/shirt will be black every time you sit in them... hmmm.

The seats look really nice from the pics though. Do you have any close up shots of the side bolsters so we can see how good it is?

I've seen a few of those type of seats before, but where those available from the factory in some sort of model? Just wondering, because the majority of the seat back's have just 3 "section" type things going down your spine, whereas yours has 6-7. Thanks

Correct. It was the standard Black dye kit. I'll post photos of the kit contents later today.

This company will even mix for you an exact color for your application if you send them a sample piece of what you intend to Dye.

I really don't know if that type seat was specific to a certain year FD, or if they were a "factory" design. Honestly. I think they were sewn that way by an upholstery shop as a request from a previous owner.?? The bottoms have the same pattern as well. More photos will be posted later today. Thanks.

This close-up illustrates the bolsters on the driver seat. It was pretty faded in that area before the dye was applied.

Okay. Time to do down and install the Seats. I'll take a few more photos of them in the car and probably a picture of my FD with it's Valentine's gift. A set of RPO2-J Wheels.

This photo doesn't really capture the true dark black color of the seat. The Sun was glaring on the interior pretty good....
