is there a trick to installing the r1 lip?

i got the r1 lip and for some reason can't get the clips to snap in. is there a trick to this or do i just push them in really hard? i have bolts also but unless the clips snap in i don't think the lip will fit as well. thanks.

Just push them in really hard. I can understand why you wouldn't want to break the little clips, but don't worry about that. Just do it! Swoosh!

They can be hard to press in, especially on a NEW spoiler. Try putting a little warm soapy water on the tabs before pressing them in. Good luck!
