is there a way to do it? the car is stock sequential so i cant get to them without tearing it down. if worst comes to worst, i will but i prefer not to.

im trying to get it to fire, but it wont. fuel pump is working, got spark, but im not getting fuel. im 99% sure at this point that the injectors are not working. im hoping there is a ground somewhere that i missed, but at this point i dont think so. the injectors were freshly cleaned and ballenced, but no sign of fuel in the combustion chamber. if i shoot some starting fluid in, it fires for a second. im stumped and pissed at this point. what you guys think?

i'd say its near impossible to access the injectors with the uim still on. if think you can do it then 'hats off to you'. personally i cant stand working in such cramped areas. also, plan on finishing with boody fingers.

I've had injectors get stuck after a cleaning, sometimes the chemicals used can do that. A good way to avoid this is to zap them with 12v.

Since you already installed them, you can just find the wires by the ECU and zap them from there. Just make sure you find the right wires with a diagram. Once you find the two wires for each injector, ground one and hit the other with juice, doesn't matter which.

Let us know if that works.

thanks for the replys, i knew it couldnt be done, i was just venting after yesterday. fuel lines have been checked and tripple checked. i know what im trying today!!

Well, actually I think you should be able to tell if they are working by finding the injector wires at the ecu. Then momentarily ground the wire and listen under the hood (mechanics stethoscope) for the clicking from each injector.

Check the injector ground wires at the ecu and see if they show 0 volts with the key on. If they are showing voltage, you have a ground issue. I assume (don't know for sure, I haven't had the top off my FD yet) that the grounds on the FD are the same as the second gen. There are two under the Throttle body/uim crap. The big one is on the top of the engine block under the rat's nest. It is crucial for injectors to work properly.
