Temperature and water/oil usage
ok so im a nu rotary owner only had my car a lil over a week its a 1992 fd3s 2.6 twin turbo, it was re-built last year but it seems to be running hot and using a lot of water is this natural or is mine a bit messed up also how often shud i be topping up with oil??

lol some people in the UK here quote the engine as 2.6 but technically its 1.3.
As for the water and oil usage, you should be using a small amount of oil as the rotary engine has an oil injection system to keep the inside of the engine lubricated. (i usually use about 1/2 a litre every 2 to 3 months shouldnt be any more than that). Now water usage can be something simple or something major. How much are you actually using and what are you measuring your water tempratures with, aftermarket gauges, what are your tempratures??·

umm well i have a FC Commander and its reading my temperature ate being 118 degrees celcius at sum times :S, im measuring the water level with that silly lil dip stik thing they give ive done around a thousand miles in it since iv had it and it just seemed very low unless it was low anyway

118 C is way too hot. You're about 7 deg away from the red line on the stock water temp gauge. Your engine should not be using any water unless its being boiled out, and vaporizing as steam which in your case it may very well be.

see now this is whats weird, the stock gauge stays about halfway most of da time, but the commander has read as much as 118 its normall around 90ish tho most of da time
