Is this temp right?

BEFORE I installed my new 2" thick aluminum SRMotorsports radiator, my stock temp was slightly higher than the middle of the gauge. It was closer to H than C. Now with the NEW radiator, nothing changed in the reading???? I am sure my engine is running cooler because the stock rad was a piece of ****. It was so thin. I know the stock temp gauge sucks ****, but anyone have any input to add? thanks.

You should really get a water temp gauge.
The stock gauge won't tell ya much.

If you are just in stop-and-go, you won't notice much of a difference. You will still need to use the fans to cool the car down, as in any other car made.

As Alien7 said, you need a water temp gauge. FYI, my stock gauge reads in the middle from about 135 F to 225 F, which is as hot as my car has ever gotten since installing a water temp gauge.
