Yep, some of that heat soak will go away with the downpipe.

If you start seeing your temps rising too far in the hot sun, just turn on your parking lights to trick the fans into coming on sooner. Good luck!

Since I have had the car I have made it a habit to ALWAYS drive the car with the parking lights on. That was actually one of the few things I had learned even before I had actually bought an RX7 (that parking lights turn fans on early).

I also drive around with the fans on 3 or 4. I do that cause I heard that the fan speed is also controlled by the the fan position. (1 = low speed, 3 = medium speed, 4 = high speed)
