im trying to replace one of the break/tail lights and i have the bolts off in the back all the way caross and the center pice off but cant get the assembly for the right side off. the manual isnt helping. Do i have to force it off?

 

Don't force it, there are clips on the backside that you have to pinch to be able to remove it. I'd take pics but it's dark out. See if you can find the clips I'm talking about, report back if you can't find'em.

 

yeah they can be pretty tight...you have to hit it with the palm of your hand towards the outside of the car.

 

oh I forgot don't do that ^ do what he said now i remember I hit it with my palm and broke off the tabs

Pull up a little then out it comes right out the clips can't be stripped theres 3 rings on them.

Those little clips are a pain in the ***. Damn the Japanese and their small hands!

 

I actually thought the hardest part was putting the lights back in, i got worried about snapping the clips in the other direction towards the front of the car.

 

you dont have to touch the clips. just push the assembly away from the car.
