TailLamp Mods

Hey ... I know I can simply go out and buy the '99 spec taillamps, but I was thinking of modifying my own to look like the '99 spec. I have detached them from the car, and removed the 6 small screws that I believed would hold the outer clear lense to the reflective housing side. I can't seem to separate the two sides after removing the screws... Im guessing there is some sort of sealant or something holding them together...

Is there a hidden screw, treeclip, or tab?
And if not, which direction should I pull to separate the two pieces?

Thanks for any advice!

hey guys, try the pre heated 350 oven for 5 minutes. while your at it,to us a favor, put the front turn singnals in there too and take out that orange reflector, so the front lights have a consistant clear look. to reatach them, just stick them back in the oven to heat up the glue and alap them back together. been 3 years with mine and no condensation, but if your protective, put another bead of sealent around them.
